Love Life Eats: February 2015

This month was half term 🙂 Chance to relax, catch up
with friends, life, etc.
Throughout February, I’ve been doing the
#mystylephotochallenge on Instagram. I’m definitely going to be doing it again
next month. Come join in the fun if you haven’t already. My Instagram is @littlehelsb.
It’s finally starting to feel more like spring this
past week with lighter mornings and evenings. I think as soon as I see a bit of
sun and daffodils, I start to feel happier. Is anyone else like that?
This month, I had a little day trip up to Manchester
– unfortunately for the dentist! It was a great excuse
though to catch up with friends, who I haven’t seen for a while.
I even got productive on the train on the way up!
Hello cloudy Manchester…
Lesley and I met for a spot of lunch at Papa G’s in the
Printworks. I was trying to be healthy this month, so opted for the Garden
Salad, with a side order of chunky chips…oops!
To round off my half term week, my friend Claire and I went to see Fifty Shades of Grey. Ooer! Has anyone else been to see it? What did you think?
We read the Trilogy a few years back and we thought, as a laugh we would go a see what the film was all about…We didn’t realise each book would (obviously) be a separate film, so we had that ‘erm, what’ face at the end. To be fair it has had some negative views, but it is very true to the book.
We then had a little post film catch up at the Slug and Lettuce. I just love the cool decor with the green lights and mirrors!
Two glasses of wine later, called for chips and garlic bread. I have to say my healthy eating regime went right out of the window this month!

I definitely need to start next month off back on the health kick…
Have you had a lovely February? What did you get up to?
Thanks for reading!
Lots of love, Helen xoxo

Papa G's is the Greek restaurant right? We went there 4 years ago for a birthday and it was really good, though the cocktail we had was odd! Amy x

Yes Amy it's the Greek restaurant. Although nothing very Greek about my salad and chips choice – oops lol! Ooh I've not tried cocktails there – maybe glad I haven't though 🙂 H xx
