Hey guys! Wow May is over with already. I say this every month, but where has this year gone! As my grandma always used to say “Never shed a clout ’til May is out”, so it’s now officially time to get the summer outfits at the ready. Of course, I hope the good old English weather is listening here!!
As it was Bank Holiday weekend and the sun was out (for the most part), my priority was sunshine. First stop was the Skylounge at The Hilton, Tower of London. This is a gorgeous roof top bar with amazing views of London. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby.
Next, I headed to South London and the lovely quaint village of Blackheath.
Here I sampled the gorgeous food at Zerodegrees, Unfortuanately, bad blogger I forgot to take photos of my food before I scoffed the lot! I went for the Bruschetta to start and the lovely staff were able to add me a bit of mozzarella on top, so top marks for service! I then had the Goats cheese pizza for main, which was seriously yummy.
Then after spending a few days chilling and working from home. I went to all action packed adventure day to Runways End Outdoor Centre in Hampshire.
The really fuzzy photo is inside the cave!
If you’re into rock climbing and team building, or just fancy a bit of fun in a cave, I would definitely recommend it. Especially, if you can pick a lovely sunny day like we did. We got the train from Waterloo (I love the amazing clock on the platform there. How romantic would it be to meet a blind date under the clock!!) and got the train to Farnborough and then it was about 10 minutes in a taxi from there.
All rounded off with more food and cocktails at Cabana at the O2 🙂
