My New Love: The Body Shop Oils Of Life:

I have no idea how I missed this baby. The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Oil has been one of my favourites for years, yet I had never tried this. It is billed as an Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, which is exactly what I have been searching for.

What can I say, other than this is truly such a fabulously luxurious product. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. It’slike I’m having a spa treatment (just shut my eyes and pretend it’s not morning and time for work!)

It contains 3 precious seed oils for their revitalising and repairing properties:
-Black cumin for antioxidants
-Rosehip for repairing Omega 3 and 6
-Camellia rich in nutritive oleic acid

I think my skin is in need of a bit extra at the moment, as I am 38 and we are starting to experience the first few really cold days and central heating time. This is bob on and my skin feels nourished and plump.

Initially, I was a little put off using an oil during the day, as I thought it would make me look super greasy. I was wrong! I mix together a few drops and work it in with my serum and moisturiser in the palm of my hand, then apply to my face. It says to apply to skin and then apply moisturiser, but I found mixing it worked better for my skin for some reason.

I’ve been using it now for a few weeks and I don’t think I will be replacing this from my daily skin care routine for a long time.

Have you ever used a skin oil? What’s your favourite?
Lots of love,

This looks really good. I've seen a few people mention oils but as i have oily / combo skin i've always been wary. My skin is odd it's oiy bu t dry at the same time so I think I will have to try it.

I was really shocked how it doesn't make your skin feel greasy. I still get spots so usually resist 🙂 xx
