For any of you who have followed my blog for a while, you will know I absolutely LOVE these boxes. However, so far every box has had something in it which I know I will never use, but it is just nice to try it. This box is the exception – everything in this box is right up my street!
Here is the contents of the box in all it’s glory…
For the finished look, I used the products in the box alongside: Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in 200, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in 3, a light dusting of No7 powder, Collection Extreme 24 Hour felt tip and Benefit Roller Ball mascara.
The box contains:
Colorstay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in the shade 320 Full House – what can I say, this is the perfect Summer shade, which will look great with a tan. In terms of lasting power, I applied it Wednesday night and by Friday some of the polish had chipped on my right hand and left thumb, which to me isn’t long lasting, but for the colour alone I thought it was a lovely product.
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat – I like the idea of this as it’s meant to make the nail varnish super long lasting. I personally didn’t find it made a difference though.
Kiko Longlasting Stick Eyeshadow in the shade 05 – I have never used an eyeshadow stick before – it felt like I was applying lipstick to my eyes! Why have I not used a stick eyeshadow before, it’s so simple, easy and no blending. I just applied it over my base colour and voila instant colour and texture, which looks like you’ve spend ages blending – love it!
Beauty UK High-Brow Kit – I love the fact this comes with a little tweezer set, which makes it great if you go away (how many of us forget tweezers when we go away!!) . Love the colour shades – big hit with me.
ModelCo Crème Rouge Cheek & Lips in the shade Just Peachy – this is one of my favourite products in the box. Beautiful colour and texture. It comes out a lovely pinky colour and gives that youthful pink glow to your cheeks. This will definitely be a repurchase.
Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Lip Gloss in the shade 260 My Eternity – the big Spring trend is gloss. I was quite hoping for the red colour as I’m loving red lips still, but this has a nice daytime, understated feel, which actually looks really pretty and shimmery in the sunlight.
Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask – I really like Moroccan oil products and this feels lovely. My hair is very dry, so I left it on for 10 minutes. I would be careful if you have fine/good condition hair as it could make it feel greasy. I popped it on at the same time as the Nuxe cream to get that at-home spa feeling going on – Devine!
Nuxe Crème Fraiche® de Beauté Mask – I loved this, it felt so hydrating and nourishing on my skin. I think this will definitely have to become a skin care ritual.
Elie Saab L’Eau Couture – mini sample. this smells quite a zesty, neutral summer fragrance and the scent lasts all day. I’m usually more of a Chanel Allure gal, but I like this fragrance. I looked online and you can get this at feel unique £46 for 50ml.
I really like the interactive competition you can enter too! Just share the look you create using the products and you could win every Glamour Beauty Edit released next year! #GlamourSpringStyle
