Review: L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Mask

It has been a while since I just chilled with a face mask. I noticed my skin has been having a few breakouts of late, so I thought it was time to strip back to basics and get a good cleansing routine going. I am not a wipes girl anymore, but still not a proper cleanser girl.

First stop for getting my skin back on track, I picked up this face mask from L’oreal. They have brought out a selection of three new Pure Clay masks: Purity, Glow and Detox. They are currently on offer at Boots for £5, so total bargain!

The Purity mask contains a powerful blend of 3 clays and Eucalyptus: Koalin to absorb impurities and excess sebum, Montmorillonite to help eliminate imperfections and Ghassoul highly concentrated minerals to help clarify complexion. Let’s see how I get on.

The mask smells really clean and applies really well. Just a nice thin layer is needed, then sit back and relax. It says on the pack for 5-10 minutes. I don’t know if it just me, but my T-zone dries really quickly and the cheek area is still wet for a while longer? The mask doesn’t feel too tight though. Although, I would still drink through a straw in case it goes in your drink!

Afterwards, just wipe off with a cloth and my skin felt baby soft.

It says to use it 2-3 per week for best results, so let’s see how I get on…

Lots of love,

Great list – I love the look of your blog too! We've chosen the same colour scheme so that may be why haha. I've read endless blog posts about these face masks and have a feeling I need to invest! Even though it's only a fiver – bargain. Thanks so much for sharing xo
