Review: the original beautyblender and solid cleanser kit

I’m usually one of those gals who either carefully applies
foundation with a brush or I’m running late so quickly with my fingers. My
lovely friend gave me this just before Christmas and it does the job quick,
easy and gives a flawless finish! Plus it comes with a soap cleaner, so no more
dirty sponges lurking in the bottom of my makeup bag!

Contents:

Beautyblender Sponge – an innovative makeup application
sponge which lets you achieve the ultimate flawless finish for your makeup and
allows you to blend to perfection without any streaks.
Blendercleanser Solid (28g) – A Soy based cleanser which
keeps your Beautyblender sponge in perfect condition.
This soap worked like magic. All the stains came right
out of the sponge! Just wet the blender and rub it all over the
soap, then massage your sponge until it lathers and all the
dirt comes right off. Rinse it with water, squeeze and leave it to
dry.
Before
After

It does seem a bit pricy paying so much a sponge and a bar
of soap. The soap if you dry it out and keep it in a dry container lasts a
fair while and it can also be used to clean your makeup brushes too. Plus the sponge comes up as good as new, so will last ages!
Has anyone else tried this? Or something similar?
Lots of love Helen xoxo

What a fab gift! I have to confess to being a lazy moo & mostly using my fingers even though I have a brush! x

Wow that soap looks incredible! I really want to try this beautyblender, it's supposed to be amazing. I've tried the Models Own dupe but wasn't impressed. How much is it for these 2? xx Sophie/ http://www.prettyandpolished.co.uk

It is a great blender, but pricey – thankfully my friend gave me this one! I've looked online it's on offer for £23.40 at allbeauty.com. If it lasts a long time I guess worth the investment maybe 🙂 H xx
