Love Life Eats 27.3.16

Hi guys I hope you are all doing well? I’ve had a bit of a whirlwind week. The highlight of which undoubtedly being getting engaged!! πŸ™‚Here is what I have been loving, doing and eating this week:

Love:

Well, given the intro to this post, the new think I’m loving wearing is my engagement ring/ Unfortunately, it is too big, so we have to get it resized at some point this week.

 

Life:

Making the most of the Bank Holiday, we had a little trip to Brighton on Friday to enjoy the first of the really summery weather. Saturday was a bit of a special day as we revisited everything special we have ever done, so we went up The Shard and a few other special places, before going to the First Dates restaurant #firstdates . Then as we came out, Dan proposed outside St Paul’s Cathedral.

Eats:
Have you seen the programme First Dates? Well, I’m obsessed with it! So, where else would you go on your first anniversary lol! I was surprised how different it looks inside compared to on the show. The real restaurant is called Patermoster Chop House. The chairs are different and the layout feels much smaller, but hey I’m not going to be going on the show, so that was the only way I will get to see inside πŸ™‚ I thought this was the highlight of our day, until he proposed!The only tiny downside is that it is not that veggie friendly obviously being a chop house, but I had the haggerty. I had actually never heard of it before, but it was a nice cheesy potato mix πŸ™‚

Well, that just about rounds off my crazy little whirlwind week.

Love Life Eats: 23.3.16

Hi guys, I hope everyone is doing well? A bit of a random mid-week round up. Unfortunately, I was poorly sick over the weekend, so limited things happened in my life, other than sitting on the sofa and drinking Lemsip. To make up for it though my boyfriend treated us to Adele at the O2 last night πŸ™‚

Wear: 

I’m loving getting back into Spring feeling beauty and this nail varnish is making me feel it right now. This little beauty is the Max Factor Glossfinity in 72 Pink’ed,

Life: 

I think this has to be one of the highlights of my year, hey who am I kidding, my life! Adele, I have to say is AMAZING! I think the most touching part of the night though was when she asked everyone to put the lights on their phone for #Brussels (the last pic). It was one of those moments when you look around and know it is a moment you will never forget.

Eats: 

Eats was a bit of a mixed bag this week. I met my gorgeous friend Claire for a bite and a few glasses of red on Monday at Auberge, Waterloo after we had both had interviews. Glad to say our drinks later became celebratory πŸ˜‰ 
Otherwise Dan and I tried out the new Pizza Express menu, which was quite tasty – I’m in love with calamari, so my new fave πŸ™‚

Love Life Eats: 12.03.16

Hey guys! How are you all doing? I say this every week, but where the heck is this year going!


Here is another weekly round up of what I’ve been loving, doing and eating this week πŸ™‚

Love:

I’ve been loving the Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Mascara. It has been a while since I have been so impressed with a drugstore mascara. The brush takes a bit of getting used to as it is rather chunky, but the effect is beautiful, full lashes πŸ™‚

The other thing I’ve been loving is You Tube. I’m just getting some video ideas together, so if there is anything you would like to see just pop a message down below. Come on over for a ganders at YouTube.com/LittleHelsB.

Life:

This week was the first time I really noticed how light
the evenings are getting. I took this photo of Central around 6pm! Roll on
summer πŸ™‚ 
For some reason we have been loving the theatre the past
few weeks. This week we went to see Hand to God at the Vaudeville
Theatre
. This was quite a different one to say the very least. We just looked at each other when the curtain went down at the interval, quite honestly we were both speechless. Saying that if you have an open mind, it was quite hilariously funny in parts. 
We also went to the cinema yesterday to see Hail Caesar. To say say the least we were glad we watched it for “free” (we have an Cineworld Unlimited card). It was a mishmash of ideas, with some funny moments. I was so surprised and was really expecting something great given the big cast members; George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson. I have the distinct feeling we won’t get those two hours back. 

Eats:

I have been enjoying a few new restaurants, including Aqua. There are a few dotted around I think. This is fast becoming one of my favourites. With gorgeous olives, Char Grilled Halloumi for starters and Spaghetti with Alaskan King Crab. It was absolutely delicious.

Love Life Eats: 06.03.16

So March is here; spring has sprung (well, is about to). The weather has been a bit of a mix bag this week; I got drenched one day and took a romantic summer-like walk on another day.

So, this is what I’ve been loving, doing and eating this week…
Love:

 

No7 Ge-Look Shine in Pink Blossom. This is such a gorgeous pink colour, which screams spring/summer is on it’s way. If you haven’t guessed, I love this time of year!
Life:
I had a bit of bad news last week, so to cheer me up, my lovely boyfriend booked tickets for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Spring into summer is my favourite time of the year. It’s like the world wakes up from it’s sleepy winter; the daffodils, the sun and then hopefully in a few weeks, the leaves on the trees to ditching the winter coat πŸ™‚ We made the most of one of the first few Spring days with a nice lazy Subday walk (and a stop of at the pub!)
Eats:
I was fancying a nice bit of pizza after that long walk, so we have Bianco a try. I love the way the menu is a newspaper – quirky touches always do it for me πŸ™‚
