my favourite things is sleeping so a very apt tag for me 🙂
I’m more of a pj bottoms around the house kind of gal,
but for bed I usually wear a baby doll nightdress. Or if it’s really cold, then
I will drag out my (very sexy!) old granny fleece t shirt style nighty.
I am currently reading ‘The Year of Taking Chances’ by
Lucy Diamond. I’m loving it so far. I totally love reading chick-lit as I find
it’s a wonderful form of escapism.
My lamp and my alarm clock (although I use my phone for
my alarm!). my book, a box of tissues, a lipbalm, eye mask and ear
plugs (I can’t sleep without them) and a Clarins hand cream.
4. Favourite sleepy scent?
Freshly washed bedding. I adore that smell when you get
into your fresh sheets and breathe in the smell 🙂 Probably why one of my
favourite bedside candles is the Yankee Clean Cotton.
If I’m at school, my wake up is a time I never really
want to see – 5:45 🙁 Sleep then is around 10 – basically can’t keep my
eyes open after that and if I do, I’m just a useless mess the next day! I need
at least 7-8 hours sleep to be at my best. I like to wind down before drifting
off by reading my book or catching up on blogs/You Tube.
I apply the Body Shop Overnight Vitamin E serum and
cream, then lip balm over my lips and a good smothering of Clarins hand cream.
Best thing my mum ever told me is to moisturise your skin to keep those
wrinkles at bay!
I have to say I laughed when I read what Jess put to
this. I’m with you gal. I sleep on my side cuddling my pillow, or duvet. But, I
always wake up halfway down the bed laying on my tummy for some
Not strange, but it takes me ages to get ready for bed.
Faffing is not the word. I think some nights it takes me longer than to get
ready for work. Yep, I’m strange!
Probably more of a big spoon. I like to cuddle things,
then let go as I fall asleep. I get a bit claustrophobic if I’m cuddled as you
can’t move about without disturbing the other person.
Lots of love,
