The Blogger Beauty Box February 2016

I always get so excited with the unboxing of a new beauty box and trying out all of the goodies inside…

This is the gorgeous box put together by the lovely Vix Meldrew @vixmeldrew. It costs just £10 including P&P, which is by far the cheapest box I’ve clocked for what you get. So, a definite winner in my book. I have popped a link here if you want to have a ganders.
Here are all the goodies inside. So, let’s dive in…
DHC Mineral Mask: Bringing the spa to you with this classic pore-purifying mud mask. It’s a while since I’ve used a proper mud mask and I had forgotten how great they are at actually making your skin feel great. Just pop it on, relax for 10 minutes and bob’s your uncle. The only down-side is mud masks always give me a little breakout a day or two later, but it is worth it for smooth, brighter complexion.
Madam LA LA Tan Instant Bronzer: I love a bit of instant tan and this one is even better as it also contains essential vitamins and antioxidants to help protect skin and fight the signs of ageing. Sounds good to me. This serum is the perfect  as it doesn’t dry my face. It was easy to apply; it is coloured so you can see exactly where you have applied it and it develops over several hours. I haven’t seen this brand before, but apparently it is going to be available in Superdrug very soon.

Merumaya Bi-Phase Plus Eye Make-Up Remover: This has a lovely oily consistency, without being too greasy mind. It removed even waterproof mascara and left my skin feeling really soft.
Pureskin Lip Treat lipsick in clear: This actually goes on as a lip balm. It is so moisturising with a very subtle scent. It’s also good to know it’s made ethically made with natural ingredients and paraben free.
THREADS Angel Eye Lashes: Wow these bad boys are beautiful! I haven’t yet tried them as I want to save them for a special, extra lash moment, but I can’t wait to wear them 🙂

JR naturorganics Mandarin and Chamomile Gentle Cleansing Milk: Removes make-up without depleting the skin’s natural moisture levels. Lovely creamy consistency, which removed all of my make-up without being harsh.

JR naturorganics Mandarin and Chamomile Hydrating Mist: This removes the last traces of make-up, but works to restore the skin’s natural PH and replenishes the skin with essential moisture. I didn’t find this to be as soothing as the cleansing milk, but left my skin feeling lovely and soft.

I used both of these going to bed as they have a lovely sleep-inducing fragrance. I have popped a link so you can check out @jrnaturorganics here.

Have you tried any great beauty boxes lately?

Lots of love,
Hels xoxo
