The Glamour Party Beauty Edit

Ooh it’s Glamour Box time again πŸ™‚ I cannot describe how much I love these boxes! It’s like a lovely little present to me, from me πŸ™‚ Plus being a full time student teacher – cash and time for beauty shopping is a bit limited,  it’s such a great way to try out loads of new beauty items and it is only Β£16.99 plus free postage.

Here is a little piccy round up of what the box contains:

Xen-Tan Luminous
Gold Gel
– I really like this as it is a lovely shimmery tan, it develops
over 3 hours and gives a lovely golden colour. Also as the packaging is 30ml,
it is great for popping in your travel bag if you are going to want a nice
colour all weekend.
Philip Kingsley
Shampoo and Conditioner
– I haven’t used these yet as they are perfect
travel size (both 20ml), so I am going to take them with me when I go visiting
family next week.
Vichy Purette
Thermal 2 in 1 and Vichy Idealia Life Serum
– I love the smell of these
little guys! The cleaner, toner and eye make-up remover is so soft on your skin
too. One down side is that it didn’t remove my eye make-up as well as the oil I
usually use, so white towels now have black make-up marks – noo! I’m a huge fan
of serum so I am loving trying this new one.
Wild About Beauty
Powder Eyeshadow
– I am huge fan of neutral colours at the moment and this is
a lovely coppery/brown shade. It is highly pigmented too. The beauty card also
give a great tip – wet the brush if you want a more long-lasting intense
Stila Smudge Stick
Waterproof Eye Liner in Black
– I was so looking forward to this eye-liner,
but it looks brown/black! So, I’m afraid it will be a day time natural only for
me : (
LOLA Nail Polish
in Bluebell
– The colour reminds me of summer, so for me not a winter/Christmas season nail varnish. It is quite thin, so you need a few coats, but
it’s a lovely shiny vibrant colour, which I can’t wait to use again next year.
Skyn Iceland Hydro
Cooling Eye Gels
– I haven’t tried this one yet as I have read great things
about it, so I’m saving it for New Year’s Day!
Popband London
– these are such great little hair bands and look far prettier on your wrist
than my usual black elastic. They did actually leave my hair without that
tell-tale kink, so I was really impressed!
Burt’s Bees Lip
– what can I say I love Burt’s Bees Lip balm. Perfect pop it in
your handbag and off you go! πŸ™‚
Lengthening Mascara in black
– I haven’t really used Collection Mascaras
before, but I like this one and the brush gives a nice defining look, so think
I might be a new fan πŸ™‚
L’Oreal Paris
Elnett Satin
– My all-time favourite hairspray! I have used this for years,
but at 75ml it is perfect handbag size so definitely perfect for the Christmas
do to keep that just stepped out of the salon look going all night! πŸ™‚
Other extras:
GLAMOUR Magazine
Subscription for iPad/iPhone
– there is a code on the inlay
card in the box so get your free annual subscription – great stuff!
FREE Laura Mercier
Foundation Primer Worth Β£19
β€“ unfortunately mine hasn’t arrived though,
so I am rather disappointed πŸ™
Well, there it is in all it’g glory. Again I cannot describe how much I love these
boxes for trying out new and old favourites πŸ™‚ Can’t wait for the next one!
Lots of love,

Helen xoxo

One thing I learned in life is to love what makes you happy and to cherish every moment you spend with your family, friends or love ones because everything that we have now on earth is temporary. Well, thank you for inspiring us with your great art work.
Visit my site for a very wonderful offer.
